What We Know About Tandem
Meet Tandem, a joyful, athletic goofball who brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He loves zooming around the yard with a toy, showing off his tricks, and soaking up attention from his people. When the excitement fades, Tandem is a total snugglebug—he’ll crawl into your lap, press his head against you, and relax once he’s had a few minutes to settle. He’s also a great car companion, curious about the world outside the window and happiest when he’s close to his person.
Tandem does well with other dogs who enjoy active, communicative play. He throws play bows, engages in chase games, and reads cues better than expected—taking “cool it” signals and adjusting his play when needed. With patient, friendly dogs, he can be social, fun, and mutually engaging. On-leash, however, he can display reactivity toward unfamiliar dogs, so he’ll need continued training and an adopter who can manage transitions and keep him focused.
He’s eager to learn, loves working for treats, and thrives with structure. Tandem can be an escape artist, so he’ll need secure handling and safe fencing if you have a yard. With the right setup and guidance, he’s a devoted, affectionate companion who brings laughter, adventure, and endless love. If you’re looking for a high-spirited buddy who plays hard, snuggles hard, and communicates well with dog friends, Tandem may be your perfect match.
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
