What We Know About Island
You know how an island getaway makes everything feel a little sunnier? Island does the same thing, minus the airfare. This sweet girl has a reputation for being the best kind of companion—gentle with kids, sweet as sugar, and pretty chill around other dogs. She knows a few tricks, seems eager to learn more, and mostly just wants to soak up love and attention like sunshine on the sand. If you’re looking for a daily dose of good vibes, go ahead and hula over her way—Island is ready to turn ordinary days into something dreamy.
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
