Meet Canon! As you can see from the photos, he has a striking black-and-white coat with a sweet pink-speckled nose. He is a young dog and loves gentle affection and cozy cuddle time once he feels comfortable. Canon can be a little shy at first and prefers to approach people on his own terms, but he warms up nicely with patience. At an event he quietly relaxed at his handler’s feet and happily greeted children with tail wags, showing his calm, loving nature.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
