Romeo, Romeo, where’s your adopter? This handsome, sweet man is waiting in his kennel, ready to trade the shelter routine for neighborhood strolls and a thorough investigation of every interesting smell. He starts walks with some energy to burn, then shows off his lovely leash manners once he’s settled into the outing. Playful and curious, Romeo is also learning the ropes in dog playgroup, showing interest in joining the fun when he gets comfortable. A family who enjoys exploring and gives him time to find his footing could be his perfect love story—with fewer dramatic monologues and more sniff breaks.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
