Reno is an older gentleman who has perfected the art of taking life at his own pace. This mellow guy is looking for a peaceful home where he can enjoy the simple things: a comfy bed, some sunshine, and a quiet spot to relax. Reno has a wonderfully independent spirit and would be happiest with people who appreciate a dog who enjoys his own space. He is ready to leave the hustle and bustle behind and settle into a calm, comfortable life where he can simply be himself. Reno has earned his retirement, and all he needs now is a soft place to land and a family who will let him enjoy it.

Golden Years Companion: Because senior pets deserve all the love in the world, this animal’s adoption fee is completely WAIVED! We never want an adoption fee to stand in the way of a senior dog enjoying their golden years surrounded by care and comfort.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.

About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
