What We Know About Valentina
Meet Valentina, a shy but very sweet girl who is still building her confidence in the world. She can be a little apprehensive in new situations, but with gentle patience, pets, and a few tasty treats, she begins to warm up and show her softer, affectionate side. Once comfortable, she’s calm, sweet, and happy to accept attention from her trusted people.
Valentina walks beautifully on leash with no pulling in most settings, travels calmly in the car, and has been practicing good manners like sitting and taking cues. At adoption events, she’s been shy with new people at first but improves with time and reassurance. In playgroup, she has done well calmly coexisting with other dogs, but a meet and greet with any resident dogs is always recommended.
She would thrive in a calm, patient home that allows her to settle in at her own pace and gently encourages her confidence to grow. With kindness and consistency, Valentina is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
