Meet Retty, a low-riding senior sweetheart with a smooshy face, plenty of spunk, and so much love to give. This affectionate little guy is more than ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home where he can relax, soak up attention, and enjoy his golden years in comfort.

Retty was an amazing houseguest while in foster care. He rides calmly in the car, appears potty trained, sleeps well overnight, and settles in easily. He’s also done wonderfully around a resident cat, showing polite curiosity and respecting boundaries when asked for space. Mostly, Retty just wants to be near his people, getting pets and reminding everyone what a special old soul he is.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
