What We Know About Pioneer
Meet Pioneer! This big, handsome boy has an affectionate personality that will win you over fast. Pioneer loves pets, snacks (especially cheese and McDonald’s treats), and being right in the middle of the fun. He’s playful, wiggly, and delightfully goofy. After a few zoomies around the yard, he’s just as happy climbing into your lap for cuddles and a nap.
On a recent day out, Pioneer enjoyed hanging in a backyard, playing with his people, riding nicely in the car, and showing off his “sit” command. He appears potty trained, settling in well with no accidents and even asking to go outside.
Pioneer has done well with dogs in playgroup at the shelter and would likely prefer a playful dog companion who can tolerate all his antics. We always recommend a meet and greet with any resident dogs to make sure it's a good fit. If you’re looking for a happy, goofy dog who can switch effortlessly from playmate to cuddle buddy, Pioneer might just be your perfect match!
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
