Meet Marie, a senior sweetheart who proves age is just a number. She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves getting out to explore the world around her. Whether she's heading out for a long walk, sniffing every interesting scent, or soaking up attention from new friends, Marie is happiest when she's on the move.

Marie is wonderfully friendly with people and loves being close to her favorite humans. She rides calmly in the car, walks confidently on leash, and enjoys discovering new places. While she isn't especially interested in showing off obedience skills, she's always ready for her next adventure.

If you're looking for a quiet couch potato, Marie may surprise you. She still has lots of energy left and would thrive with someone who enjoys staying active and can keep up with her love of walks and exploring. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who is full of affection, curiosity, and spunk. Marie is ready to spend her golden years making new memories with a family who appreciates her lively spirit.

Golden Years Companion: Because senior pets deserve all the love in the world, this animal’s adoption fee is completely WAIVED! We never want an adoption fee to stand in the way of a senior dog enjoying their golden years surrounded by care and comfort.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
