Meet Abigail, a beautiful queen estimated at five years old who has arrived at the shelter with one blue eye, one brown eye, and approximately zero interest in whatever nonsense everyone else has going on. She has some visual impairment, and her ears seem to have taken a similar “do not disturb” approach, so she may not rely much on sight or sound to take in the world. In doggie play group, Abigail prefers respectful canine company complete with space bubble and has absolutely no time for puppy shenanigans. She’s looking for a home where she can be treated like the queen she clearly believes herself to be, surrounded by patience, kindness, and someone who is ready to help her feel safe and comfortable. Her Majesty has waited long enough.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
