Jessica is a sweet, goofy house hippo with absolutely no idea how chonky she is! She appears potty trained, sleeps through the night, and happily chills with her humans. She loves people, treats, and especially climbing into any available lap—personal space is merely a suggestion. Jessica has been friendly and curious with an elderly, cranky cat and loves being her human’s loyal shadow. Add champion snuggler to her résumé, and this lovable potato is quite the houseguest!

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
