Meet Kilby! She looks like a spotted cow. She smiles like she knows it. And yes—she has opinions.

Kilby is a mature girl (6+), built for comfort these days. She’s carrying some extra weight and has a few aches in her legs, so she’s not looking for adventure—she’s looking for a soft place to land and a person to call her own.

She can be vocal and expressive, especially when there’s a barrier or a leash involved. And if she demand-barks at you, don’t be offended—there’s a good chance she’s asking for pets. Kilby is not subtle about what she wants.

What she needs is a calm, low-key home with someone who understands that not every dog is good at the social scene. With a little structure and a lot of understanding, we believe that Kilby will blossom into a funny, stubborn, affectionate companion with a one-of-a-kind look and a smile to match.
